Transitional Step-Down/Group Home
When a youth is set to graduate from the residential service they can be placed in the Step-Down program.
This program implements a less-restrictive Group Home environment, allowing the youth unsupervised privileges with the approval of the custodial parent and/or agency. Some of those privileges include off-grounds schooling and off-grounds employment in accordance with the resident's service plan.
If needed, Safehouse can remove a youth from the Step-Down program and place them back into the residential service.
