Safehouse Residential provides on-site educational programming through our school, Safehouse Preparatory. We provide educational services in line with rigorous Ohio Academic Content Standards, as well as seamless therapeutic delivery. We recognize that our students’ needs require them to receive an integrated treatment approach and high levels of support throughout their day.

​​​​​​​Our educational team consists of licensed teachers, intervention specialists, instructional aides, behavioral aides and clinical staff. We work collaboratively to consistently address behavioral, social and/or academic deficits that impact overall functioning and success. The goal of our program is to focus on the whole child by supporting each student’s treatment plan while addressing social/emotional competencies, functional life skills and academic needs. We aim to close gaps and encourage future independence. Our coursework ensures students stay on track, meeting graduation requirements. We provide Credit Recovery and Credit Flexibility options that allow students to learn required material, achieve their highest potential, and graduate on time with their peers.
